After the recent announcement that you won’t need to have a MyDigital ID to get your driving details using the MyJPJ app for now, the MyDigital ID team have apologized via their site. However, they also note that their servers were overwhelmed with more than 150000 registrations in just 24 hours.
In addition, they also noted that some of those who tried to register didn’t activate their cameras for the face identification step or had other camera problems. According to them, they have been constantly monitoring the situation and for the last 48 hours there have been no waiting times online.
Physical registrations rolling out to JPJ, JPN and Tealive?!
Moving forward, they will place more than 100 agents to do MyDigital ID registrations face-to-face at 84 JPJ locations nationwide. You can also register physically at 212 JPN counters and selected kiosks at certain Tealive branches. Check their site for more details.
Since it has only been postponed and not canceled we fully expect that the MyDigital ID will be used eventually. What do you think? Perhaps the deadline will be in the coming months instead? Share your thoughts in the comments below and stay tuned to TechNave.com
