Netflix 2020 in review - What have Malaysians been watching?

The year is coming to a close and as expected we're starting to see news like Spotify's #2020Wrapped. So, how about platforms like Netflix? Well, the company has published a summary of what its users have been watching this year. Specifically, what we Malaysians have been watching.

In the "Year of Many Moods" report, it was revealed that Malaysians have mostly been watching six different genres of shows. The list includes Asian love stories, action movies, fantasy series, anime, documentaries, and horror movies. In 2020, Netflix also added Bahasa Melayu to the platform. Malaysians can now change the UI to BM, as well as watch their shows with subtitles or dubs in BM.
