It looks like the influence of TikTok is pretty strong. After Instagram introduced a new TikTok-like feature named Reels a while ago, Netflix is reported to be following in the footsteps as well by setting up similar stuff. Today, it is announced that a new feature called Fast Laughs will be starting to roll out on Netflix, offering videos that come in short format to entertain the users.

Rather than created by amateurs, the videos from Fast Laughs will be excerpts from Netflix's popular shows ranging from original titles to licensed programs. By doing so, the Fast Laughs will allow users to add a show to their watch list if they have stumbled upon something funny or interesting by using the feature. Therefore, users do not have to go through the comparatively longer trailers or previews before diving into a particular Netflix show.

It is mentioned that the feature has been through a beta test with a limited number of users earlier this year. After receiving positive feedback, Netflix is now rolling out the feature for more users across the US, UK, and a few other regions. Unfortunately, Android users might need to wait longer as it is only available for iOS users at the moment.
