The ASUS ZenFone Max Pro is quite a popular device thanks to its economical price and nice features such as the badass 5000mAh battery. But there seems to be another variant called the ZenFone Max Pro M1 and it's said to run on "pure" Android.

There are some slight differences between the M1 and the original, for starters the M1 is using a 14nm Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 chipset as opposed to the 430 unit. Then there's the 6-inch display with an 18:9 screen-to-body aspect ratio. The memory capacity is quite good as well, going up to 6GB of RAM and 64GB storage, which also means that it's possible for a 4GB + 32GB variant as well.

The leaked list

The rest of the specifications remains the same, such as the 16MP + 16MP dual rear camera, a 16MP selfie snapper, 5000mAh battery, and a triple SIM card slot for two nano-SIMs and a dedicated microSD slot which is nice. In addition, you can also see a rear fingerprint sensor and apparently, there's a "5 magnet" speaker with an NXP amp for sound quality.

The Zenfone Max Pro M1 will be unveiled in India first on 23 April, so until then, stay tuned for more ASUS news at TechNave.com.
