Late last night, Apple announced a new virtual event coming soon on 7 May 2024. From the new logo theme and tagline "Let Loose", we will be getting new iPad 2024 models and if the rumours are true, we may be getting a tablet with an OLED display and M3 chip.

For the past few months, it was heavily speculated that the new iPads would launch alongside the M3 MacBook laptops but that didn't turn out to be the case. According to many previous reports, there could be a new iPad Air powered by an M2 chip in 10.9 or 12.9 inches with a redesigned rear camera module, and supporting WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 connectivity.

As for the iPad Pro, it should be using an M3 chip as aforementioned. On top of that, it could also be the first iPad lineup to use an 11 or 13-inch OLED display. MagSafe wireless charging is expected and its Magic Keyboard could be redesigned. A new next-gen Apple Pencil is also expected to launch on that day.

If you're interested, you can check out Apple's Let Loose virtual event on 7 May 2024 at 10 PM (Malaysia time). The livestream can be watched on Apple's website or official YouTube channel, and its Apple TV app as well. Stay tuned for our official news coverage at TechNave.com.
