New Dell laptop lineup and XPS Tower introduced with VR system feature

The Dell XPS Tower

Today, with Alienware celebrating its 20th anniversary this year and introduced the all-new Alienware 17, 15, 13, and the Alienware Aurora Desktop, Dell were also present at the event showcasing their new notebooks as well, namely the Dell Inspiron 15 5000 Laptop, Inspiron 15 7000 Gaming and the XPS Tower. Below are some of the products' information.

Inspiron 15 5000 Laptop

Coming in a wide array of colours such as Sparkling white, Midnight Blue, Fog Nigh, Matte Gray, Black, Bali Blue, Tango Red and Cosmic Purple. This laptop features an optional FHD display as well as an optional touch. On the 15-inch FHD touch screen, there's also an optional infrared camera with Windows Hello for security purpose.

Other than that, it has the latest Intel 7th Gen Core i7 processors, plenty of storage and optional discrete graphics for individuals and families who shares the laptop.

Inspiron 15 7000 Laptop

For those who are more on the gaming side, they can check out the Inspiron 15 7000 gaming laptop as it comes with a dedicated forward and rearward thermal outlets that are the first clue to the system's capabilities to handle demanding graphic games. Behind the laptop, lies the extra-capacity heat exchangers connected by an oversized piping to dual cooling fans with high-efficiency blade pitch - engineered specifically to handle Intel 6th Gen H-series quad-core mobile memory.

On the battery power pack, it has a deep-reserve 74 watt-hour battery that allows gamers to keep the game going longer than lesser capacity designs in the market.

XPS Tower

Moving on, the XPS Tower and XPS Tower Special Edition desktops give consumers the power to take advantage of its intensive applications like video editing, HD video playback, multitasking, VR and extreme gaming. It's equipped with the latest 6th Gen Intel Core processors up to i7 quad-core and overclockable K-SKU options and up to 64GB DDR4 memory, along with NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1080, which is the most advanced gaming GPU ever created; powered by an energy-efficient new NVIDIA Pascal architecture. It also features Intel Smart response Technology, which gives you a large storage capacity of a hard drive.

With a VR-ready XPS Tower, the XPS Tower Special Edition configurations give an ideal VR experience with either the HTC Vive or Oculus Rift.

Both the Inspiron 15 5000 (5567) and XPS Tower are now available for RM1999 (7th Gen Core i3) and RM3699 (6th Gen Core i5). The Inspiron 15 7000 (7566) will cost RM3499 and will come in November, all prices are inclusive of GST.
