If you recall, there was a rumour last month that Apple could launch a new iPhone SE and iPad Air soon. It's believed that the two devices would launch by Spring 2022, though the exact launch window wasn't revealed. Now, it's believed that the launch could be in March.

According to Bloomberg (via MacRumors), the 3rd-gen iPhone SE and 5th-gen iPad Air would launch on 8 March 2022. The new iPhone SE would have the same design as the one launched in 2020 but is expected to have a more powerful A15 Bionic chipset, 5G support, and an improved 12MP front camera. As for the new iPad Air, rumours suggest that it could come with an OLED panel.

However, this launch window may or may not be accurate. According to MacOtakara, Apple has already begun to mass-produce the two devices. But with the rumoured launch date only about a month away, Apple could still delay the official reveal for the two devices. At the very least, the company is unlikely to make the 3rd-gen iPhone SE and 5th-gen iPad Air available on the launch date.

Things can still change. But if these sources are correct, we could see the two devices in Malaysian Apple stores as early as April 2022. Take the news with a grain of salt though, and don't get your hopes up just yet. For now, we'll keep an eye out for more updates, so please stay tuned to TechNave.com.
