The Nothing Ear (2) has been in the rumour mills for a while, with the company’s founder and CEO Carl Pei saying that the earbuds will launch later this year. Now, we may have just seen the first renders of the Ear (1)’s successor thanks to a new leak from @OnLeaks and Smartprix.
The renders reveal a detailed look at the earbuds’ overall design, including the case. A closer inspection of the leak shows that the design remains relatively the same barring the placement of the noise-cancelling microphones.
It looks like the microphone is now at the side of the earbuds rather than on the back. According to rumours, the Ear (2) will sport dual connectivity, personalised active noise cancellation (ANC) and Advanced EQ.
Of course, do take this information with a grain of salt as like the company’s name, nothing is confirmed as of yet. Well, if the earbuds are launching later this year, maybe Nothing will release it together with the Phone (2).
