New renders of Xiaomi Mi Mix device shows dual-screen and huge zoom camera

Last week, supposed high-quality images of a new Xiaomi device appeared on Aliexpress. Allegedly the Mi Mix 2020, this device featured a thicker right-side bezel to hold the dual front cameras, a design that's never been seen before. But now new renders have appeared for another Mi Mix device and it shows a completely different design.

According to LetsGoDigital, the new renders are based on a recent Xiaomi patent for a smartphone featuring two displays and a large rear camera. This could be either the Mi Mix 4, which has been rumoured before. Here, the renders show that the device's front display wraps around the side just like the one with the Mi Mix Alpha, while a smaller secondary display is found at the back. Also, a very large camera that can seemingly zoom can be found at the back.

But if you think about the device, it's more likely that this is another concept device like the Mi Mix Alpha, which never officially available as a consumer product. However, if the tech described in the patents are viable, we could see a future Xiaomi device like the Mi Mix 4 with some fancy new tech. If nothing else, a phone with a dual-screen or a single AI Super Camera could be interesting to see.

Since the rendered video by Concept Creator was named as the Mi Mix Alpha Pro, this is probably just a proof of concept. But with that said, would you be interested in such a device if it comes to market? Let us know on our Facebook page and stay tuned to TechNave.com for more news like this.
