Throughout 2021, one thing that was hotly debated was the continuation of the Samsung Galaxy Note series. Rumours were claiming that it won't be coming back and others say otherwise. But it's starting to look like the latter case is the likely outcome.

According to ET News (via 9to5Google), Samsung is allegedly going to end production for the Galaxy Note 20 series. The company also has no plans for a Galaxy Note series smartphone in 2022. If you combine these two facts, it becomes more evident that Samsung plans to drop the series for good.

The S Pen is a big reason why the Galaxy Note series was popular

The biggest advantage of the Galaxy Note series is its screen size and S Pen support. However, phones like the Galaxy S21 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 3 have large displays and support for the S Pen. As a result, there's less of a need to manufacture a Galaxy Note series. From a business perspective, it makes a lot of sense.

If it does happen, many fans would be disappointed. Of course, you shouldn't give up till Samsung comes right out to confirm it. Having said that, are you fine with the 'replacements' Samsung has released for the Galaxy Note series? Let us know in the comments, and stay tuned to TechNave for more news like this.
