Get ready to game in a totally new way with the new Nintendo Switch. Formerly known as by its codename Nintendo NX, the new console from the big gaming company combined the concept of a home console and a portable console in a single device.
It is powered by a custom NVIDIA Tegra chip that gives it enough power to drive incentive games on the TV screen and the smaller screen on the Switch. The console is made out of three elements – the base console, the home dock and the detachable controls that Nintendo is calling the ‘Joy Cons’. The ‘joy cons’ can also be used as dual controllers in a multilayer game as each piece can be used as a standalone control device. An optional Switch Pro controller is available for a more traditional gaming experience.

No concrete details of the specs are out but there are leaks out for the console. It is running the aforementioned NVIDIA Tehran chip, a possible internal storage of 32GB, a game card slot and possibly wireless connectivity (WiFi, Bluetooth).
It is slated to be out by March 2017, and we at TechNave can’t wait to try it by next year.
