Besides the new Predator and Aspire gaming laptops, Acer Malaysia also unveiled a new Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller. Designed as a foldable and portable controller, it was developed for gamers who want console-like control in a pocket-sized form factor.
This Nitro Mobile Gaming Controller is compatible with Android 9.0 and iPhone 15 series and above only, supporting devices up to 8.3 inches. The controller comes with dual wired and wireless charging options, supporting 18W fast charging. It features 15 buttons, including analogue L2/R2 triggers and zero latency response, as well as a dedicated Nitro Screenshot button.
The Acer Nitro mobile gaming controller is priced at RM439 and is available immediately at Acer's authorised resellers nationwide, Acer eStore, Acer's official store on Shopee and Lazada. Customers who purchase an Acer Nitro mobile gaming controller before 15 May 2025 can get it for RM349.
Meanwhile, Acer Malaysia also unveiled a new Nitro Intel Arc B580 OC 12 GB (AN-B580-OCA), featuring Xe2 architecture with up to 20 cores, GPU clock speed of up to 2,740 MHz, supports gaming at 1440p and up to 8K visuals. Additionally, this GPU also supports AI-driven technologies like Intel Xe Super Sampling (XeSS), Intel Xe Low Latency (XeLL) and Intel Xe Frame Generation (XeFG),
Moreover, it includes dual FrostBlade fans, oxygen-free copper heat pipes, an aluminium backplate, and a metal anti-bending strip. It can also support up to four displays simultaneously with 1x HDMI 2.1 and 3x DisplayPort 2.1 outputs, alongside broad media support including AV1 codec and dedicated AI engines (XMX). The Nitro Intel Arc B580 OC 12 GB is priced at only RM1,599, now available at Acer eStore, Acer's official store on Shopee and Lazada.
