Alongside the Nothing Phone (4a) Series, Nothing has announced the new Headphone (a), expanding its over-ear audio lineup with colourful options. It is available in Pink, Yellow, White, and Black, while continuing the brand’s distinctive design language.
The Headphone (a) Features
The Headphone (a) weighs 310g and features breathable memory foam ear cushions designed for all-day comfort. It also carries an IP52 rating, offering protection against dust, dirt, and light water exposure, making it suitable for workouts and everyday use.
Battery life is one of the device’s standout features. It delivers up to 135 hours of listening time (roughly five days) on a single charge with active noise cancellation turned off. When the battery runs low, a five-minute rapid charge provides up to five hours of playback. Like the previous Nothing Headphone (1), the new model uses Nothing’s tactile hardware controls integrated directly into the ear cups.

These include the Roller, Paddle, and Button, allowing users to adjust volume, control playback, and switch ANC modes without relying on touch gestures. The Button also introduces new features such as Channel Hop, which lets users quickly switch between apps or functions, and a Camera Shutter mode that acts as a remote trigger for taking photos or starting video recording on a connected smartphone.
Audio Performance and Adaptive Noise Cancellation
For audio performance, the headphones support Hi-Resolution Audio Wireless certification and the LDAC codec. Sound is driven by a 40mm titanium-coated driver and also include Adaptive Active Noise Cancellation along with a Transparency Mode that allows ambient sound to pass through.
A hybrid ANC system using dual feedforward and feedback microphones works with AI to automatically adjust noise cancellation based on the surrounding environment and headphone fit. For calls, the Headphone (a) uses a three-microphone AI system trained on over 28 million noise scenarios to isolate the user’s voice in noisy environments.

Users can also further customise their listening experience through the Nothing X app, which includes an 8-band advanced equaliser for fine-tuning sound profiles. The app also allows users to create and share EQ presets with the Nothing community, alongside a real-time bass enhancement feature that dynamically boosts low frequencies without affecting mid and high-range clarity.
Pricing and Availability
Like the Phone (4a) Series, the Headphone (a)'s pricing and availability in Malaysia will be announced on 1 April 2026. Stay tuned for our official news coverage by then, only at TechNave.com. Meanwhile, you can also check out the news about the Phone (4a) Series here.
