Nothing Phone (1) Lite is not coming after all

The Nothing Phone (1) has become the talk of the town with its unique design. Earlier, we heard a rumour saying that the company is already preparing to launch a 'Lite' version of the device later this year. However, it might not be true after all with Nothing's denial.

According to PhoneArena, Nothing denies that such a phone is being developed. The source notes that the company has been transparent with what it's working on, not to mention that CEO Carl Pei was the one doing most of the leaking when it came to both the Nothing ear (1) and Nothing Phone (1). Therefore, if the company says it doesn't have a plan for a Nothing Phone (1) Lite, we should believe it.

The rumoured device is said to be mostly the same as the regular version, except it would lack the eye-catching rear LED Glyph lighting system, but isn't that the highlight that makes people swoon over the Nothing Phone (1)? Since the rumour has been stopped here, those waiting for it might have just bought the standard variant before it went out of stock.
