After months of teasers, Nothing finally launched the Nothing Phone (2), with the device touted for a Malaysian release this Friday (14 July). One of the new features of the device is the Glyph Composer and if you’re a Phone (1) owner, fret not as it’s available on your device too.
Basically, Glyph Composer allows users to create custom light patterns and ringtones on their Nothing phones. Furthermore, the company even partnered with music group Swedish House Mafia to create a special sound pack for the Phone (2).
Users can remix these sounds to create their personalised ringtones using Glyph Composer. Accordingly, Nothing has released the Glyph Composer app on Google Play Store, which can be downloaded and used by Phone (1) and Phone (2) users.
Hence, if you own a Phone (1), then you can just download the app to get the same features as the Phone (2). However, given that they are fewer glyph interfaces on the Phone (1), the customizability would be less than the latest Nothing flagship.
