The global launch of the Nothing Phone (3) took place in the UK yesterday, touted as the first ‘true’ flagship from the company. Interestingly, there will be a slight difference for the variant of the smartphone sold in India, so read on to learn more.
Nothing Phone (3) comes with a bigger battery in India

Specifically, the variant for the Indian market comes with a 5500mAh battery, 350mAh larger than the 5150mAh of the global variant. Both batteries are silicon-carbon, with the charging specs the same at 65W wired and 15W wireless.
It is unknown why there’s a difference in battery sizes, though it could be due to different regulations, with India being more lenient compared to, say, the UK and the US. For example, the POCO F7 in India has a considerably larger 7550mAh battery compared to the Malaysian and global variants’ 6500mAh cell.
Speaking of the Malaysian market, the Phone (3)’s pre-order in the country starts on 4 July 2025. No official price announced just yet, so stay tuned to TechNave for more trending tech news.
