Nothing phone (1) spotted on Geekbench, features a Snapdragon 778+ SoC and 8GB RAM

The Nothing phone (1) has been getting all the hype recently thanks to its unique design and excellent marketing strategies. In fact, people are holding a bidding war over at StockX to get one of the first 100 units of the device even before knowing what the specs of the smartphone are.

However, we may have gotten a sneak peek at some of the phone (1)’s spec before the official announcement date of 12 July 2022. Spotted on Geekbench 5 listing, it looks like the first smartphone by Nothing is a mid-range offering based on the processor used.

As reported by MySmartPrice that spotted the listing, the phone (1) has the codename ‘Nothing A063’ and will run on Android 12. Furthermore, under the hood the device is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778+ SoC, a mid-range mobile processor alongside 8GB of RAM.

As for benchmark performance, the device scored 797 on single-core and 2803 on multi-score from Geekbench 5. However, as we all know, specs doesn’t tell the whole story, so we do have to wait until the phone (1) officially launch before making any judgments.
