Previously, we mentioned Netflix’s Game Controller App on iOS. Today, Netflix’s VP for the Gaming Division, Mike Verdu confirmed that you can now play mobile games on the streaming platform. That said, this is what you should know about gaming on Netflix.

According to Mike via a blog post, more users will have access to mobile games from devices other than their phones. In addition, selected users in the UK and Canada will be able to access mobile games from their TVs through the app. PC and Mac users should be able to do the same in the upcoming weeks. As of now, only games in beta are available on Netflix. That includes the adventure game Oxenfree and Molehew’s Mining Adventure.

On top of that, you will need a separate game controller app to play the game. If you haven’t installed it, you can scan the QR code on TV. That will lead you to the download page for the app. For PC or Mac users, a keyboard and mouse would do. In fact, it is recommended to play these games with a PC set-up (keyboard and mouse) because most of the games offered are suitable for this configuration.

You can play these games through the Netflix App on Amazon Fire TV, Chromecast, LG TVs, Nvidia Shield, Roku, Samsung Smart TVs, and even Walmart ONN. However, it can be very easy to miss out on these games. Especially when few users know it exists. To play it, you will need to log onto your Netflix account and search for it on the respective app store. As of now, Malaysian netflix user will have to wait for awhile before they can enjoy this feature.
