OPPO launched the A53 back in September and followed up with the A33 for those who have simpler needs. But if you are hoping for something just a bit more powerful, here's another option for you. The company has just announced that the OPPO A73 smartphone will soon be available in Malaysia, with sales on Shopee starting on 11 November 2020.

The OPPO A73 is a lower mid-range device. It's powered by a Snapdragon 662 chipset, 6GB of RAM, and 128GB of internal storage. While the chipset is not all that powerful, the display is a decent 6.44-inch OLED with a resolution of 2400 x 1080. That makes it great for people who like to watch videos or play simple mobile games on a phone. Supporting all that is a 4015mAh battery, which should be enough to provide you with a full day of use.

In terms of cameras, the A73 comes with quad cameras (16MP+8MP+2MP+2MP) at the back and one camera (16MP) on the front. The phone also uses AI technology to ensure the display is more comfortable to look at even for longer hours. Other features include the under-display fingerprint reader, 30W VOOC flash charge, and the Steady Video feature for stable videos.

The OPPO A73 comes with a 1-year extended warranty and will be available for RM899 on Shopee in Dynamic Orange, Navy Blue, and Classic Silver colours. For the first 300 people who pre-order the phone (between 3 to 10 November), you'll also be able to get a Weloop Neo Smartband (worth RM389). As for people who order it after the pre-order period, you'll still get a pair of OPPO Enco W11 earbuds (worth RM159).
