As predicted, news of the OPPO Ace 2 continues to surface. On Friday, a retail shop in China had already exposed the price of the device. But not long after, OPPO posted a new video to show some of the details for the display of the device. This time, it certainly seems that OPPO will be aiming to make its display match the phone's high specs.

According to the Weibo video, the OPPO Ace 2 will come with a 6.5-inch display with a 90Hz refresh rate, giving users a smoother visual experience while using the phone. The display also has a brightness level of 800nits and 96.3% DCI-P3 colour gamut, which should ensure good video quality. As far as we can tell, it's likely that OPPO's main target audience for this phone would be the more casual mobile game users.

Previously, it was also confirmed that the Ace 2 will feature Qualcomm's latest flagship Snapdragon 865 chipset. There will also be up to 12GB of RAM, up to 256GB of internal storage, and a 4000mAh battery. In terms of features, the phone will have a triple camera setup (48MP+8MP+2MP) at the back, 65W fast-charging, and 40W wireless charging.

If the alleged price leaked before is true, the OPPO Ace 2 will be a more affordable flagship than the Find X2 series. However, we're still unsure if it will make its way to Malaysia.
