In this short announcement, OPPO Malaysia has confirmed the launching date of the motorized stealth 3D camera Find X! Obviously, from the cover image above, the official launching date is 17 July 2018 so do book your date on that because we are SO going to cover it. Exciting times!
Now that we got the launch date, oh that's left is the price speculation. Previously, we mentioned that OPPO is selling the Find X starting from 4999 Yuan (around ~RM3000) in the China market. Comparing this with the €999 (~RM4727), the price difference is a big contrast but this is because they have released a 128GB model. So with this, it would be a smart move for the company to do the same thing for the Malaysia market, or else it would be just another iPhone.
To recap some of the highlights, the Find X houses an AI-powered 25MP front camera, as well as a 3D light detecting system hidden at the front for Face Recognition and for 3D AI Beauty Mode. The smartphone is wrapped with a 3D glass body along with a 2.5D glass on the edge, making it one of the best looking phones of 2018. It's also interesting to note that it's currently occupying the No.1 spot in ‘Top 10 trending phone’ based on GSMArena.
