After realme and HONOR announced their plans to launch their flagships at the MWC 2022 event, OPPO has announced its too for the Find X5 series. However, the brand will not participate in MWC this year as it will be launching the devices a week before, which is on 24 February.

The OPPO Find X5 is the successor of the Find X3 since there was no Find X4. If you're wondering, it's because the number '4' is considered bad luck in China, but the brand still launched the OPPO Reno 4 previously.

The new teaser poster announcing the launch date has revealed part of the smartphone's design, which is aligned with what we've seen earlier. The camera module will have two large cameras, with a smaller one and the LED flash sitting on the side. You can also find the text 'Powered by MariSilicon' in the middle. That refers to the MariSilicon X chipset that OPPO previously unveiled, which helps with AI neural processing and image capture.
