So just a few hours ago in China, OPPO quietly released the latest R17 Pro on their website as a new mid-range device. With a starting price of 4299 Yuan (~RM2567), the source says that the sales will start in mid-October but only for China, so it's unclear if the phone will make its way to other regions or not.

From tech-specs, we learn that the R17 Pro is equipping the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor (finally) and has quite a big memory capacity as well, packing 8GB of RAM and 128GB worth of storage. However, it doesn't have any expandable memory available so there's that. The screen panel is AMOLED + Corning Gorilla Glass 6 quality and measures up to 6.4-inch with a screen-to-body ratio of 91.5% thanks to the Waterdrop notch design, its resolution is 2340 x 1080 pixels. It has an in-display fingerprint scanner too.

We also mentioned before from our previous article that it has a triple camera setup now. To start off, the primary camera is 12MP with a switchable aperture from f/1.5 - f/2.4 (sounds familiar? lol) with Optical Image Stabilizer, while the secondary camera is 20MP (website doesn't say what is this for), and finally, the last one is not really a camera but rather a 3D ToF (Time of Flight) depth sensor which is used for 3D photo capturing, connecting to a TV and used as a gaming console, according to OPPO. As for the front camera, it houses a 25MP (f/2.0) sensor.

The battery is 3700mAh but this is an intriguing one, as it's said to be divided into two with 1850mAh each, reason being is so that it works with the 50W SuperVOOC charging technology, which is the same one as the Find X Lamborghini Edition that can charge up to 40% in just 10 minutes.
