So this just came in, OPPO Malaysia has confirmed that its triple camera OPPO R17 Pro smartphone will be making its arrival on 22 November 2018 and it seems that the 'Seize the Night' fan event is also the official launch. Moreover, local celebrities and OPPO ambassadors, Min-Chen and Zahirah Macwilson are attending it as well.
As mentioned in our previous news, all the lucky winners will be announced on 16 November 2018 and the recruitment form for the fans to participate in the fan event can be found here. However, only a few lucky fans will be invited to join by submitting three night photo samples taken from an OPPO phone.
To highlight some of the tech specs, the R17 Pro is the second phone to utilize a switchable aperture on the main camera, being able to switch from f/1.5 to f/2.4 back and forth depending on the lighting conditions. It's also equipped with a dual-pixel technology and three-axis OIS feature specialized to take on night photography, according to the company.
