The OPPO R17 has officially been unveiled on OPPO’s Official Website and it comes equipped with the Corning Gorilla Glass 6 as well as the same Waterdrop display as seen in the OPPO F7 previously reported. Feature wise it comes together with an AI Camera capable of detecting up to 800 scenes and the software will tweak the images to provide the user with optimal image quality and colour.
Not only that, the device is also expected to come with a in-display fingerprint sensor. Similar to the OPPO F7, the non-flagship OPPO R17 will come equipped with the VOOC Fast Charging technology which is capable of charging the device to more than 50% in just half an hour.
In terms of tech specs, the OPPO R17 is running on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 chipset, 8GB of RAM, 128GB of internal storage, 16MP + 20MP rear camera, 25MP front facing selfie camera, 6.4-inch display with a screen resolution of 1080 x 2280 pixels and it houses a 3500mAh non-removable battery. It will also come on 2 colour schemes which are Blue and Purple which changes colour depending on the angle the user is looking at. Other than that, there is no news on when the device will be coming to Malaysia or even the price of it in the local market.
