The OPPO Reno 5 series that was first launched last month and offered a premium mid-range with powerful cameras. But unlike the Reno 4 series, the Pro may not be the best variant this time. In fact, sources claim that the more powerful Reno 5 Pro+ is on the way.

According to GSMArena, a new OPPO device recently certified on the Global Certification Forums could be the Reno 5 Pro+. It's highly possible too, as the device bears the model number of CPH2207. For reference, the Reno 5 Pro's model number is CPH2201. If this Reno 5 Pro+ is coming to Malaysia, OPPO will probably launch it here later this month after the Chinese New Year holidays.

The OPPO Reno 5 Pro+ is actually a flagship-class device, as it will house a Snapdragon 865 chipset. You can also expect it to come with 12GB of RAM, 256GB of internal storage, and a 4500mAh battery. On top of that, the phone will have a liquid vapour chamber to keep it cool.

The phone's retail price in China is 4499 yuan (~RM2816), so it'll probably be sold here for around the RM2899. Not too bad for a flagship-class device, but what do you think? Let us know in the comments and stay tuned to TechNave for further updates on this.
