Everyone’s been obsessing over completely bezel-less devices and OPPO definitely feels that as well. OPPO’s Vice President, Shen Yiren shared on Weibo that the OPPO Reno may feature an impressive 93.1% screen to body ratio with bezels as thin as the OPPO Find X.

He claims that the forehead of the phone may only measure at 1.88mm and the sides a mere 1.63mm. The chin, the area which seems to have the fattest bezel will only measure at 3.5mm in thickness which is only 0.1mm thicker than the OPPO Find X.

Besides that, Shen Yiren mentioned that the OPPO Reno will not support wireless charging. In contrary to rumours pointing that the Reno line may come with 50W Super VOOC fast charging, the device will instead come with the latest VOOC 3.0  fast charging. It is claimed that the device could charge from 1% to full charge at about 24% faster than VOOC 2.0.

The OPPO Reno is expected to come in 3 models. The standard version of the device may come with tech specs that include the Snapdragon 855 chipset, 6.4 inch Dynamic AMOLED display, 4065mAh battery capacity, and a 6th gen in-display fingerprint scanner.

The Reno line is expected to be released on the 10th of April, the same day as Samsung’s Galaxy event. Which launch are you more excited for? For the latest news, rumours and leaks on the OPPO Reno, make sure to add TechNave.com to your RSS feeds!
