Today, OPPO Malaysia has announced the arrival of the OPPO Reno12 Series. The Reno12 and Reno12 Pro (both in 12GB + 512GB) can now be purchased at RM2,199 and RM2,599, respectively. Below are more details about the launching promotions.
From today until 31 July, with every purchase of the OPPO Reno12 Series, consumers will receive rewards, including a gift, an instant rebate, and stand a chance to win lucky draw prizes worth up to RM10,000 via the My OPPO App. Moreover, consumers are guaranteed the phone’s trade-in value when upgrading to any future Reno generation which you can refer to in the table below.
To recap some of the highlighted tech specs, the Reno12 and Reno12 Pro are powered by the same brand-new 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 7300 chipset that was developed exclusively by MediaTek and OPPO. Additionally, the two phones also have a 5000mah battery pack with 80W SUPERVOOC Flash Charge. OPPO proclaimed that it has up to four years of optimal battery lifespan.
As a camera-centric device, the Reno12 Pro features a 50MP telephoto portrait camera with 2x optical zoom and its front camera is also 50MP. To add to that, the 50MP front camera has a new AI Portrait Retouching effect that allows real-time adjustments to facial features. There are other GenAI features as well, such as AI Eraser, AI Clear Face, AI Best Face and AI Studio. The Reno12 Series' AI is built on Google Gemini LLM.
