Shortly after the launch in China, the OPPO Reno15 Series officially launched in Malaysia. The lineup consists of the Reno15 Pro 5G, Reno15 5G, and Reno15 F 5G, and here's everything you need to know about the local tech specs, prices and availability.
Recapping the Camera Features
At the heart of the Reno15 Series is OPPO’s new 50MP Ultra Wide Selfie Camera with a 100-degree field of view. For portrait photography, the Reno15 Pro 5G and Reno15 5G are equipped with a 50MP Telephoto Portrait Camera that uses a periscope lens close to the 85mm focal length. Additionally, the Reno15 Pro 5G comes with a 200MP Ultra-Clear Main Camera.
Low-light performance is enhanced through AI Flash Photography 2.0, combining dual rear flashes with a new front screen flash to produce softer and more natural lighting. OPPO’s updated Reno Portrait Engine and Skin Tone Improvement algorithm work behind the scenes to maintain realistic skin textures while enhancing overall image quality.
There are other camera features as well, such as AI-powered editing tools like the AI Portrait Glow as a digital lighting assistant. And there's a new Popout feature, which introduces layered compositions where subjects visually break out of the frame, adding a sense of depth and creativity. With AI Motion Photo Popout, users can create animated collages or cross-time storytelling effects that blend moments from different scenes. Meanwhile, AI Motion Photo Slow-Mo uses frame interpolation to turn standard Motion Photos into cinematic slow-motion sequences.
Video recording capability is something OPPO has been working on as well. This includes 4K HDR Ultra-Steady Video, advanced video tools, Dual-View Video mode, Camera Switch, and an updated Video Editing 2.0.
Other Tech Specs and AI Tools
Powered by ColorOS 16, the Reno15 Series benefits from the Luminous Rendering Engine for smooth animations and the Trinity Engine for intelligent performance and power management. The Reno15 Pro 5G is also powered by the MediaTek Dimensity 8450 chipset paired with AI HyperBoost 2.0, while network performance is enhanced across the lineup with AI LinkBoost 3.0, and the Reno15 Pro adds a dedicated SignalBoost Chip X1 that reduces gaming latency by up to 84%.
Cross-platform connectivity is another standout feature. O Plus Connect enables fast file transfers between OPPO and iOS or iPadOS devices, while screen mirroring and remote PC control support both macOS and Windows systems, positioning the Reno15 Series as a central hub for a connected digital workflow.
OPPO is also introducing a broader AI ecosystem with the Reno15 Series. AI Mind Space allows users to capture and organise content across apps, and additional tools include AI Translate, AI Recording, AI Call Assistant, and AI VoiceScribe. These AI features are powered by OPPO’s Private Computing Cloud.
Aurora-Inspired Design
Continuing the visual identity of the Reno14 lineup, the Reno15 Series is paired with a Dynamic Stellar Ring camera module and a one-piece sculpted glass back. The Reno15 Pro 5G features a compact 6.32-inch display optimised for one-handed use, framed by aerospace-grade aluminium for a premium feel, whereas the Reno15 5G and Reno15 F 5G follow with 6.59-inch and 6.57-inch 120Hz displays.
Durability is another key focus, with the Reno15 Series carrying IP66, IP68, and IP69 water and dust resistance ratings. Splash Touch technology ensures reliable screen responsiveness even when hands are wet.
Pricing and Availability in Malaysia
The OPPO Reno15 Series is available now through OPPO Malaysia’s official and authorised sales channels. The Reno15 Pro 5G with 12GB + 512GB is priced at RM2999 and comes in Aurora Blue and Dark Brown. Next, the Reno15 5G is offered in a 12GB + 512GB variant at RM2399 and a 12GB + 256GB variant at RM1999, with multiple colour options including Aurora Blue, Aurora White, and Twilight Blue.
Lastly, the Reno15 F 5G is priced at RM1599 for the 12GB + 256GB model and RM1499 for the 8GB + 256GB version, available in Aurora Blue, Twilight Blue, and Afterglow Pink. To mark the launch, OPPO is extending a promotional offer on the OPPO Watch S, allowing Reno15 Pro and Reno15 buyers to purchase the smartwatch for RM99 until 16 January 2026.
