Our government may have extended the conditional movement control order (MCO) to 9 June 2020, but some businesses are now allowed to resume and have been taking advantage of the chance. OPPO Malaysia is the same and has announced that the reopening of brand stores and service centres, which were all closed since 18 March 2020.

For the OPPO physical stores, only those in certain locations have reopened, while all service centres are now open but will not be in full operation. OPPO Malaysia has announced that only customers should only visit the service centres if they urgently need an item repaired or serviced. You can also check the store listing for all stores that will be operating, but we're unsure if it's listing only the ones that have reopened or all stores available in Malaysia.

Since the threat of COVID-19 remains present, all stores will ensure that the necessary safety measures are in place. All staff and visitors will have their temperature taken, while the use of face-masks and the 1.5-metre social distancing will be enforced. Besides that, the premises will be disinfected twice a day and hand sanitisers will be available as well. Additionally, OPPO stores will provide customers with a complimentary one-time phone sanitisation service.

It's great that stores have now reopened, as customers will be able to physically try devices before making a purchase decision. Hopefully, things will go back to normal in Malaysia sooner than later. Stay healthy, folks, and remember to stay tuned to TechNave.com for the latest news on tech and gadgets.
