Currently in the Malaysian market, OPPO Malaysia have released the Reno 4 and Reno 4 Pro, and you'd be mistaken if you think that's all the lineup. According to TENAA from China, it seems that there could be another Reno 4 variant called as the Reno 4 SE.
Under the name PEAM00 / PEAT00 in TENAA listing, the only important information that we see that the phone is using an octa-core chipset with up to 2.0GHz. Some leaks are saying that the chipset could be the Dimensity 720 and with this information in hand, it's quite possible that the phone may only be for the Chinese market as globally, there are no phones with that yet. On the other hand, other leaks are also claiming that it's the Dimensity 800 or 800U chipset.
OPPO Reno 4 SE?
On the other hand, other rumoured tech specs include a 6.43-inch AMOLED FHD+ resolution, as well as supporting a 60Hz refresh rate and 180Hz touch sampling rate. There could be a 32MP front camera, followed by a triple rear camera consisting of a 48MP + 8MP + 2MP module. Lastly, the battery could be 4300mAh with 65W fast charging technology.
Nonetheless, we won't be surprised to see the Reno 4 SE coming to Malaysia but with a different chipset. We will just have to wait for OPPO Malaysia to make an official statement so stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
