While the OPPO Ace2 was revealed last night, so did the OPPO 40W AirVOOC wireless charger. According to OPPO, this product is the world's first commercial high-speed wireless charger and it's able to charge a 4000mAh battery in under an hour (56 minutes). At the moment, it's only available in China for 249 Yuan (~RM152).

As previously reported, the OPPO 40W AirVOOC wireless charger can achieve up to 40W on the OPPO Ace2. If you try to use another smartphone with Qi-wireless charging capability, you can but it will only get 10W of wireless charging power (well that's a bummer). On the design, it's said to use a fan side to dissipate the heat inside going out through the vents beneath the product.

OPPO assures that when charging on the deck, the phone's temperature will always be below 39-degrees so that's good. Even if you charge it up at night, the wireless charger will enter silent mode and the fan won't be noisy with less than 22 decibels.

We have no idea if OPPO Malaysia is interested in bringing this 40W wireless charger to the local market or not, but I think many OPPO fans would want it and it best goes with the OPPO Ace2. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
