We've heard about OPPO planning to launch its first tablet way back at the beginning of the year. Until now, new information finally arrived by saying that the company's upcoming tablet will belong to the premium segment, which gives it a chance to rival against the likes of Apple and Samsung.

According to tipster Digital Chat Station, who has been fairly accurate about this kind of news, the first OPPO tablet could be priced in the medium or high range. Besides that, the tipster also mentioned that the tablet could sport a look similar to HUAWEI MatePad Pro 12.6, with thin bezels on all sides resulting in a high screen to body ratio. There could be a punch-hole cutout on the screen housing the front-facing camera as well.

Software-wise, the tablet is expected to run ColorOS specially made for large screen devices. The tablet will also offer seamless connectivity with OPPO's other products, such as smartphones, smartwatches, headphones, and more. For now, we could only be patient and wait for OPPO to make an announcement.
