OPPO Malaysia today announced that it will be launching the company’s highly-anticipated flagship smartphone, the OPPO Find X5 Pro 5G in our country next week. Set for an 18 May 2022 release date, Malaysia would be one of the first countries outside of China to officially have the device available for purchase.
The OPPO Find X5 series was first launched back in February 2022, with its dedicated imaging NPU processor, the MariSilicon X turning heads for its top imaging performance. OPPO said that it’s one of the most powerful AI computing software running and advanced AI noice reduction algorithm.
As for the Find X5 Pro 5G, the MariSilicon X is paired with Sony’s advanced 50MP IMX766 flagship sensors. At its rear, it features a 50MP+13MP+50MP triple camera module and at its front, a 32MP selfie camera. Hence, OPPO said that the device boasts markedly improved camera performance, with a focus on 4K Ultra Night Video, along with better low-light photos.
Other notable specs of the Find X5 Pro 5G are the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 5G chipset, 12GB of RAM, up to 512GB of internal storage, under-display fingerprint sensor, a 5000mAh battery and of course, 5G connectivity. It also sports a 6.7-inch LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and high 1300 nits max brightness.
OPPO has yet to revealed the price of the Find X5 Pro 5G in Malaysia, so we just have to wait until launch day to find out.
