Invitations have been sent to select media for an event in China involving honor. We suspect this is for the Honor 6X, which is slated to be launched after receiving approval from TENAA. This mid-range phone is set to replace the honor 5X in the lineup.

The phone will have a 5.5-inch screen with a 1080 x 1920 resolution. Driving the handset will be the Kirin 950 SoC, grown and harvested from the garden found in Huawei's back yard. 3GB of RAM will be inside along with 32GB of native storage. A 12MP dual camera setup can be found on the back of the phone with a 2MP front-facing snapper for selfie shooters. Keeping the lights on is a 3340mAh battery. A fingerprint scanner will be found on the back of the unit.

For the phone, honor is expected to have it priced around USD200 (~RM 830) and we may see the price to mirror the honot 5X in Malaysia once it is available here. Stay tuned to TechNave as we bring more news on the honot 6X.
