We recently reported that the OnePlus 3T was spotted in the SIRIM database. It is now finally available for pre-orders. These are official International A3003 models distributed by Brightstar Malaysia that comes with a full 1-year local warranty.
The OnePlus 3T is officially priced RM2229 for the 64GB storage configuration, which is about 20% higher than the original OnePlus 3 that used to be sold at RM1888. Local phone retailer, DirectD is now taking pre-orders, offering a choice of both Gold and Gunmetal. It is listed as shipping within 3-5 working days, which meant you are highly likely to receive your order by 21-22 March, which is next Monday or Tuesday.
While the OnePlus 3T looks similiar to the original OnePlus 3, it had received some minor upgrades, including that new Gunmetal colour. Here’s a recap of the OnePlus 3T’s specifications:
- 5.5-inch Full HD (1080p) AMOLED display
- Qualcomm Snapdragon 821
- 6GB RAM + 64GB Internal Storage
- 16 MP Sony IMX298 rear camera with PDAF, 1.12µm pixel size and OIS
- 16MP front camera with 1.0µm pixel size
- 3400mAh battery with Dash Charge (5V4A) Quick Charging via USB Type-C
- OxygenOS based on Android Nougat
If you could swallow the slightly increased price for the OnePlus 3T, you may pre-order your unit here. While it might seemed like a lot of money to pay for a device, the OnePlus 3T is still, one of the better price-performance ratio smartphones around, at this moment of writing. Would you be getting one?
