The OPPO Reno8 series is set for release next Monday (23 May 2022) in China but OPPO has not revealed much about the upcoming smartphone lineup, other than its launch date. However, we now have a first look at the smartphone’s design thanks to official posters shared by OPPO on Weibo as well as from a listing that accidentally went live on JD.com.
On the official OPPO Weibo account, the tech company recently released several promo materials for the Reno8 series. These include 3 posters and 2 videos promoting the device in China.
Besides that, IT Home previously reported how the Reno8 series product page accidentally went live on JD.com, revealing the design. Well, it looks like the product page is in fact correct as the design is identical to what was shared by OPPO in the official promo materials.
A closer look into the promo posters show that it has a boxy, flat-edge design and a dual-camera setup at the back. As for the colour options, it’ll come in black, blue and gold, though the colour naming scheme may be slightly different.
The Reno8 can also be seen sporting a punch-hole display to house a selfie camera at the top-left of its front. It would also have thin bezels all around at the front, except for a slightly thicker bezels at the bottom.
