Last year's Galaxy Fold had a similar promo render
After Samsung has confirmed that there will be a total of five devices to be unveiled at Samsung Unpacked, we're quite sure that the Galaxy Z Fold 2 will be showcased soon. The company's next foldable device is expected to come with some improvements to features and design. And now, a newly leaked render that may be official may shine some light on the design part.
Initially spotted by Ishan Agarwal, allegedly official renders of the new Galaxy Note 20 Ultra and Galaxy Z Fold 2 have appeared on the Weibo social network. However, the renders for the latter were of a low resolution, causing it to be pixelated. If you squint and look closely, you'll be able to make out some details like the dual speakers (top and bottom), USB Type-C port, and large rear cameras. The device also seems to have very thin bezels for the display. But could we trust that this render is legit? It's honestly hard to tell.
Some renders of the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold2 & Note20 Ultra going around on Weibo... I'm doubtful about their legitimacy since the Z Fold 2 design looks a bit too good to be true. #Samsung #Unpacked #GalaxyZFold2 #GalaxyNote20Ultra pic.twitter.com/M8rljZPMjD

Could the blurry render be the Galaxy Z Fold 2?
In terms of tech specs, there have been several leaks for the Galaxy Z Fold 2 in recent weeks too. The foldable is expected to be powered by the Snapdragon 865+ chipset, which could make the device more expensive than its predecessor. It's also supposed to have a 120Hz display, 64MP main camera, 5G support, and a 4365mAh battery.
Honestly, the blurry render is a bit hard to take seriously but it could have been done deliberately. Still, it's best to take what you may see with a healthy grain of salt.
