It’s no secret that the recent pandemic has accelerated the already breakneck pace of the tech industry. Speaking based on this, Dr. TM Roh President and Head of Mobile Communications Business, Samsung Electronics remarked that operational agility or “the ability to prioritize resources and be efficient today, while anticipating trends and acting decisively for tomorrow” is even more important for everyone, and will be introduced at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked on 5 August 2020.

Embracing this Next Normal, in his blog post he revealed that there will be “5 new power devices” at the upcoming Galaxy Unpacked. As such they will allow you to “live life to the fullest with these devices in your hand (and in your ears, and on your wrist.)”. These offer hints that we may be seeing not only the expected Samsung Galaxy Note 20 but also the Galaxy Buds Live / X / Beans, Galaxy Watch 3 and new Galaxy Fit.

He goes on to remark that Samsung’s “Next Normal will be a period of even bolder innovation” which hints at maybe their next foldable device. This could be the Galaxy Z Fold 2 which was recently leaked and looks like it will probably also have 5G built-in as well (we expect the Note 20 to feature this too).

The blog post also indicates that there may also be even greater integration and “collaboration with Google, Microsoft, Netflix and Spotify” on Galaxy devices. This could include optimized video-calling, easier sharing of messages, photos and calendars with Microsoft devices and even with gaming on the Xbox.
