One UI 6 update released for Samsung Galaxy A14 5G, expect global rollout soon

The Samsung Galaxy A14 5G has been around in Malaysia for a few months as it was launched early this year. If you happen to have the phone, here's some good news - One UI 6 stable update is now out in India and we can assume that it will be rolling out globally, including Malaysia.

The news was not officially announced by Samsung but by @tarunvats33 on Twitter X. Under the build version: A146BXXU2CWK9/ A146BODM2CWK9/ A146BXXU2CWK2, it's said to be 1.8GB worth of data update and inclusive of security patches. There are a couple of new features on One UI 6 such as app enhancements, personalisation and others. According to the description, the Galaxy A14 5G indeed will get many similar features.

To refresh your memory, the Galaxy A14 5G is powered by the MediaTek 700 SoC paired with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage. It also has a 5000mAh battery under the hood with support for 15W fast charging via the USB-C port. Additionally, there's a 6.6-inch 90Hz LCD screen with a 13MP front camera, alongside a 50MP main + 2MP macro + 2MP depth triple-camera setup.

In Malaysia, the Galaxy A14 5G is available in Burgundy Red and Silver at RM949. For an entry-level device, getting the latest software update is pretty sweet so just sit tight and wait for it to roll out globally.
