Finally after a month, Samsung has rolled out the latest One UI 7 update in Malaysia. Starting today (14 April 2025), the new software update will be available starting with the Galaxy S24 series, Galaxy Z Fold6 and Galaxy Z Flip6.
To recap, Samsung has made One UI 7 more simple and impactful and designed it to provide a cohesive experience to Galaxy users. Galaxy users can customise their devices more than ever, especially with the redesigned One UI widgets and lock screen. The home screen has been simplified as well.
For instance, the Now Bar provides real-time updates to the user on the right side of the lock screen without unlocking their phones. Additionally, One UI 7 also has improved Galaxy AI tools, with the likes of AI Select that lets users save a GIF file from a video or use Writing Assist to summarise or automatically format contents.
There is also Drawing Assist, which can help generate AI images from text prompts and images or sketches. Last but not least, Audio Eraser makes advanced editing accessible for all by isolating categories of sounds and removing unwanted noise in videos. Google Gemini is also available and free to use.
One UI 7 will roll out to more Galaxy smartphones and tablets in the following weeks, including the Galaxy S23 series, Galaxy S23 FE, Galaxy Z Fold5, Galaxy Z Flip5, Galaxy Tab S10 series and Galaxy Tab S9 series. Stay tuned for more trending tech news at TechNave.com.
