OnePlus 11 5G Malaysia release: SD 8 Gen 2, 120Hz LTPO 3.0 AMOLED and 100W charging from RM3299

OnePlus Malaysia today launched its latest flagship for our local market, the OnePlus 11 5G. Featuring the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 paired with up to 16GB of LPDDR5X RAM, read on to find out the full specs and prices of the smartphone. 

The Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC features increased CPU and GPU speeds by 35% and 25% respectively. There’s also a new RAM-Vita technology which allows for as many as 44 applications active in the background.

There’s also support for Realtime Hardware-enabled Ray Tracing, and this supports a dynamic live wallpaper named PhysRay Wallpaper developed by OPPO open-source PhysRay SDK. Users can slide, swipe or click on the phone to experience the vivid and realistic shadow, reflection, and refraction effect. 

As for the screen, the 11 5G sports a 6.7-inch 2K 120Hz Super Fluid AMOLED Display with LTPO 3.0, which was self-developed and certified by SGS Low Blue Light Ex.  The panel is also certified by TÜV SÜD 48-month Fluency Rating A, TÜV SÜD Precise Touching S Rating, SGS Perceived Fluency A+, and TÜV Rheinland for Safe Charging and Usage.

Speaking of which, the device features a 5000mAh dual-cell battery which supports 100W SUPERVOOC charging that OnePlus claims can fully recharge the device from 1 per cent in 25 minutes.

Moving to its imaging capabilities, the smartphone sports a triple-camera setup with a 3rd Gen Hasselblad Camera system at its rear and a 16MP camera at its front. As for the former, it includes an IMX890 50MP main sensor, IMX709 32MP portrait lens, and IMX581 48MP ultra-wide camera.

The 11 5G marks a new Natural Color Calibration with Hasselblad supported by a 13-channel multi-spectral sensor for light-colour identification and the Hasselblad Portrait Mode to provide almost DSLR-like photos. Moreover, it is also equipped with TurboRAW HDR which is excellent for mobile photographer enthusiasts.

Other notable specs include Dual “Reality” Dolby Atmos Speakers, WiFi 7, UFS 4.0 storage, Cryo-velocity VC Cooling System and dual-SIM support. The 11 5G is also the first OnePlus device that will be eligible for four major OxygenOS updates and five years of security updates.
