Previously, we reported that OnePlus is planning to launch its first-ever foldable phone, as confirmed by its President and COO Kinder Liu. A device that “aims to be at the pinnacle experience of today’s foldable market”, nothing concrete has come out regarding the device as of yet though.
Recently, however, details of the OnePlus foldable have allegedly been leaked by reliable tipster Yogesh Brar. These include its launch timeframe, launch event venue and the markets where it will be available.
In an exclusive with PriceBaba, Brar revealed that the device, touted as the OnePlus Fold will be announced by the company during the first half of August 2023. This is in line with the previous confirmation by OnePlus that it will launch in Q3 of this year.
Besides that, Brar also asserted that the launch event venue will take place in New York, which means that it’s a global release. Accordingly, the foldable will be available in the United States and other global markets, including India, though the specific markets were not revealed.
Fingers crossed, it will be available in Malaysia too. Well, according to previous OnePlus global releases, this would definitely be the case.
