Previously, we shared some of the alleged specs of the OnePlus Open, the company’s first foldable smartphone, as well as a 29 August 2023 release date. Now, more leaks have come out regarding the device, including its form factor and cameras.

As shared by reliable tipster Max Jambor on Twitter, the OnePlus Open will feature the same form factor as the OPPO Find N2, which would distinguish it from other foldables in the market. Unlike the Samsung Galaxy Z Fold series, OPPO’s Find N2 features a passport-like form factor which makes the outer screen more usable on its own.

Besides that, Jambor also claimed that the OnePlus Open will feature big cameras and a periscope zoom lens, though no specific sensor or megapixel count was mentioned. Lastly, the device will launch on 29 August in Black and Green colour variants.

Of course, given the relationship between OPPO and OnePlus as sister companies, it’s not a surprise that the OnePlus Open would be based on the OPPO Find N2. Well, these are mere speculations at this point as nothing is confirmed yet so do take it with a grain of salt.
