In case you didn't know, OnePlus announced an upcoming launch earlier this week. The 16 July 2024 global launch in Milan (Italy) will unveil the Nord 4, Buds3 Pro and Watch2R. But there's one more product waiting in the wings - a new tablet.
As confirmed in a community post, OnePlus will reveal the OnePlus Pad 2 during the 16 July event. This comes right after the heels of the OnePlus Pad Pro, a flagship model launched on 30 June 2024 with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 chipset. Nothing else was confirmed, but we can assume the OnePlus Pad 2 is a direct successor to the OnePlus Pad.
For reference, last year's OnePlus Pad is a flagship-class mid-range tablet sporting the modest Dimensity 9000 chipset. It also has up to 12GB of LPDDR5 RAM, 128GB of UFS 3.1 storage, and a 9510mAh battery. Feature-wise, it has an 11.61-inch 2800x1200 resolution LCD screen with a 144Hz refresh rate, four speakers powered by Omnibearing Sound Field technology, and built-in smart AI.
