Do you still remember that there was a time when OnePlus launched only one smartphone instead of bringing a Pro variant together? If you do, the brand might be going back to the same smartphone launching strategy with the upcoming OnePlus 8T. It is reported that the OnePlus 8T will not bring a Pro variant with it when it arrives.
Since the OnePlus 7 series, the brand started to bring a Pro model to every series they launched afterwards (OnePlus Nord not included). However, tipster Max J posted on Twitter saying that OnePlus will not be doing the same with the OnePlus 8T. The codename of the OnePlus 8T is "kebab". To visualize the matter, the tipster put a stop sign on the codename "kebab2" which simply means there will be no OnePlus 8T Pro.

To recap, the OnePlus 8T is rumoured to bring a 120Hz screen just like the one from OnePlus 8 Pro, but it will not have the telephoto shooter though. Therefore, the question is will OnePlus make the OnePlus 8T a premium offering or an affordable one. It is still unsure when will the device arrive but we will let you know once we got the news!
