In our previous news, we reported Proton had extended the e.Mas 7's special launch package to 3,000 more customers. As of today (13 February), sources say there are now over 4,000 bookings and 80% of them belong to the Premium variant.

In a note proudly announced by Proton Edar CEO, Zhang Qiang, he said it only took a month for the Proton e.Mas 7 to take the lead in EV sales across the nation. On top of that, the special launch package is certainly attractive, as it comes bundled with a free 7kW home charger, a V2L adaptor, a warranty for mileage and battery, as well as a trade-in rebate worth RM1,200.

On the other hand, Pro-Net Chief Branding Officer Salawati Mohd Yusoff said customers who opt for the Prime variant may receive their deliveries at an earlier date. The company is targeting to deliver 1,000 units by the end of February and will boost production more in March. We can start to see some e.Mas 7 on the road by the end of next month.

To recap, Proton's latest EV was first launched on 16 December 2025. Then in January 2025, there were a total of 421 units registered for the e.Mas 7, which contributed a 25% share of the overall EV market. To learn more about the EV, you can check out our official news coverage right here.
