PICO today launched the PICO 4, the first All-in-One VR Headset introduced to the Malaysian market. Offering Malaysians a multitude of ways to build new connections, reimagine life experiences and unlock boundless potential. Blending sleek minimalist design and technology, the PICO 4 sports wireless all-day play with better comfort through a lighter body and balanced design.
Unveiled during an event in Petaling Jaya today, the PICO 4 offers better picture quality thanks to its Qualcomm Snapdragon XR2 processor. Specifically, the VR headset features a 4K+ level 90Hz display and pancake options that bring 105° ultra-wide field-of-view combined with 6DoF (6 degrees of freedom) tracking.
Furthermore, PICO 4 also give users more entertainment options with native 6DoF games and apps that can be found in the PICO Store. According to Allen An, the Regional Director of PICO Southeast Asia, the company has a dedicated local team, official agents and retail partners in our country in order to provide Malaysians with a VR experience like no other.
PICO also hopes that its presence in our country will drive the development of the VR industry in Malaysia, bringing local audiences worldwide and on a journey to explore a world of infinite possibilities with VR. Besides that, with the launch of PICO 4, the company is holding a roadshow from 13 to 16 October at the Orange Concourse of Sunway Pyramid so that consumers can get a first-hand experience of its latest VR product.
In Malaysia, the PICO 4 is available for purchase starting today (12 October 2022) at RM1699 (128GB) and RM1999 (256GB) respectively. The All-in-One VR headset can be purchased at PICO authorised dealers, PICO flagship stores on Shopee and Lazada, as well as TikTok Shop and receive their device from 14th October.
