POCO had announced that it'd be globally launching its new entry-level smartphone, POCO C40, on 16 June 2022. Despite giving us the date, the brand actually revealed it earlier than what is stated for its Vietnamese customers. Therefore, we now know everything about the smartphone, and we're here to share it with you.

The POCO C40 sports a 6.71-inch LCD panel with a resolution of 1560 x 720 pixels (HD+), a 60Hz refresh rate, 400 nits peak brightness level and protected by an unspecified version of Corning Gorilla Glass. Under the hood, it gets powered by the JLQ JR10 SoC, which is okay that you've never heard of it because we don't either. There's also a 6,000mAh battery that supports 18W fast charging, but it ships with a 10W charger.

Meanwhile, the back gets a dual-camera setup with a 13MP primary shooter and a 2MP depth sensor. The front uses 5MP snapper for selfies and video calls. Other POCO C40 features include a dual SIM card slot, 4G, dual-band WiFi, Bluetooth 5.0, GNSS, a USB Type-C port, a dedicated MicroSD card slot, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor.

The device will be available in three colour options - black, yellow, or green. It will go on sale on 17 June in Vietname for VND 3,490,000 (~RM660) with a single 4/64GB configuration. If you want to get this device, you might need to wait until 16 June and see how it goes.
