POCO has announced that its latest smartphone, the POCO F4 GT is set for a global launch on 26 April 2022 at 8pm Malaysian time. Teased by POCO with a poster showing the design of the F4 GT, the smartphone has been given the moniker ‘The apex of power’ by the company.
It is believed that the F4 GT is meant for the global market outside of China. Though not much information have came out regarding the device, it will most probably share the same specs as the Redmi K50 Gaming.
In fact, based on a Geekbench listing of the upcoming device, the F4 GT may just be a rebrand of the Redmi K50 Gaming. This is definitely possible given the relationship between Redmi, POCO and Xiaomi.
According to rumours, this latest POCO device may feature a Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 CPU coupled with an Adreno 730 GPU under the hood. In terms of cameras, it may feature a 64MP + 8MP + 2MP triple camera setup at its rear.
Other possible specs of the F4 GT include a 4750mAh battery capable of up to 80W fast charging, Android 12 via MIUI13 and a 6.67-inch 120Hz OLED display. However, do note that these are mere speculations and that we must wait until 26 April to get the official specs.
Speaking of which, you can catch the F4 GT global launch via POCO’s official Facebook page here. Can’t wait!
